Revamped Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth Jobs System

Yakuza series enthusiasts can anticipate an array of exclusive job classes in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. The eighth installment features the return of protagonists Ichiban Kasuga and fan favorite Kazuma Kiryu, teaming up for a Hawaiian adventure, promising more of the series’ signature over-the-top elements.

The Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth job system allows characters to adopt various fighting techniques, altering their play style. After battles, characters earn both character and job experience points, with jobs leveling up independently. While not mandatory, exploring different jobs enhances the overall gaming experience.

Building upon the robust job system of the previous Yakuza installment, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth introduces a revamped version with confirmed classes such as Hero (exclusive to Ichiban Kasuga), Dragon of Dojima (exclusive to Kazuma Kiryu), Cabbie, Heiress, Homeless Guy, Detective, Barmaid, Assassin, Hitman, Mafia, Samurai, Aquanaut, Desperado, Kunoichi, Housekeeper, and Geodancer.

The Hero class empowers Ichiban Kasuga with healing and buffing abilities, while the Dragon of Dojima class allows Kazuma Kiryu to break away from turn-based combat. Certain jobs are character-specific, offering players freedom in approaching the game’s combat system.

Players can freely change job classes, and each class brings unique characteristics. For instance, Aquanaut utilizes water and surf-based attacks, Geodancer employs dance moves for elemental attacks, Samurai channels sword and bow attacks, Housekeeper wields household items against foes, Desperado engages in classic Western-style confrontations, and Kunoichi enables ninja-style combat.

As Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth approaches its January 26, 2024, release date, excitement builds for the game’s extended length, change of setting to Hawaii, dual protagonists, and the continuation of the series’ trademark over-the-top gameplay. Fans can stay tuned for more features, news, and guides on Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.
