Amid repeated suggestions from The Rock, there’s speculation that a significant alteration to a WrestleMania XL title match could be in the cards.

The Rock

Since his return, The Rock has been actively involved in his role as a member of the Board of Directors of the TKO Group. From orchestrating a match between himself and Roman Reigns to adjusting the stipulations of the tag-team match at WrestleMania involving him and The Bloodline, The People’s Champ is exerting his influence.

If The Final Boss continues along this path, it could have significant implications for one of the title matches at WrestleMania XL. As we know, in addition to the Undisputed Universal Championship bout, Seth Rollins is set to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre on Night 02 of the event.

Since aligning himself with Cody Rhodes, Rollins has found himself in verbal sparring matches with The Rock, who has vowed to make the World Heavyweight Championship vanish.

Rock

While it’s unlikely that The Rock will make the title disappear, he could still shake up WrestleMania XL.

There’s a chance that Rollins might suffer a surprise assault at the hands of The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment before WrestleMania, creating an opening for Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.

Priest could then replace Rollins in the match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. However, the likelihood of this scenario playing out is slim. While The Rock may relish the opportunity to outsmart Seth Rollins, Damian Priest already has his hands full of WrestleMania, where he’s scheduled to defend his Undisputed Tag Team Championship alongside Finn Balor in a Six-Pack Ladder Match.
