ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 maintained a humble attitude as he faced off against the formidable competitors Takeru Segawa and Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Despite not being favored in his bouts against two of the division’s most beloved fighters, ‘The Kicking Machine’ emerged victorious on both occasions, much to the satisfaction of his fans.

A month following his impressive victory over Takeru at the highly anticipated ONE 165 event in Tokyo, Japan, Superlek expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support from his dedicated fan base.

In an exclusive interview with Nic Atkin of Sportskeeda MMA, the Thai superstar stated:

“I’m happy to be back, and I’m very grateful for the support from the fans. It was one of the most supported fights ever, and all the fans showed their happiness. I’m glad I didn’t let them down.”

Superlek has gained international acclaim following his triumph over Rodtang in the epic Muay Thai Fight of the Century at ONE Friday Fights 34 last year, as well as successfully defending his title against the formidable Takeru.

Undoubtedly, the 28-year-old has shed his underrated status and is finally receiving the respect and recognition he rightfully deserves.

As a product of the Kiatmoo9 Gym, Superlek has emerged victorious in 11 out of 12 matches under the ONE banner and has remained virtually unbeatable in his last nine consecutive wins.
