Cody Rhodes

Ever since his return to WWE, Cody Rhodes has been riding a wave of unprecedented popularity, evident in his ability to turn The Rock into a villainous character. Each move by The American Nightmare seems to carry an iconic quality.

While this is exciting news for Rhodes’ fans, WrestleMania 40 could witness another iconic moment from him. On the grand stage of wrestling, Rhodes may recreate one of his most memorable entrances from AEW. This particular entrance took place during the AEW Revolution three years ago.

Back then, Cody Rhodes made his entrance to the ring accompanied by a live performance of his theme song, “Kingdom,” by the band Downstait. For those unfamiliar, Downstait is the group behind The American Nightmare’s iconic theme.

Since its debut, “Kingdom” has become one of the most beloved wrestling anthems of all time. The possibility of Downstait performing at WrestleMania arises from their hinting at a significant announcement leading up to WrestleMania 40.

Given WWE’s substantial investment in Cody Rhodes, it would be fitting for the company to grant him one of the most grandiose entrances at what could be the pinnacle of his career.
