Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, who is facing eight serious charges due to his involvement in a street race leading to a six-car accident, has turned himself into the authorities in Dallas.

According to WFAA, he was booked and then released after posting a $40,000 bond. While Rice hasn’t been formally charged with leaving the scene of the accident, there’s a possibility that additional charges could be filed against him.

So far, neither the Chiefs nor the NFL have taken any action against Rice. Some argue that they should consider the gravity of the situation.

The evidence clearly shows that Rice’s cars were involved in the street race, putting many lives at risk.

The driver of the other car involved, Theodore Knox, has already been suspended by SMU. This situation reflects poorly on both the NFL and the Chiefs.

It’s been suggested that Rice should be suspended indefinitely until the legal proceedings are resolved. This would send a strong message to other players about the consequences of engaging in risky behavior that could harm themselves and others.
