Donovan Mitchell scored 29 points, while Evan Mobley added 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Their efforts helped the Cleveland Cavaliers secure a 118-94 victory against the top-seeded Boston Celtics on Thursday night, evening the playoff series at one game each.

After a 25-point loss two nights prior, where Mitchell’s 33 points didn’t suffice, the Cavaliers rallied in the third quarter to take the lead and eventually dominate the game.

During the third quarter, Mitchell scored 16 points, showcasing his skill with three consecutive baskets early in the fourth, including a remarkable 28-foot, banked 3-pointer that saw him shrug his shoulders in celebration as he retreated on defense.

Jayson Tatum led Boston’s efforts with 25 points, supported by Jaylen Brown’s 19 points. However, Derrick White, who had scored 25 points in Game 1, struggled in this game, managing only 10 points and missing seven out of eight attempted 3-point shots.

The series now heads to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4, scheduled for Saturday and Monday respectively. Game 5 will return to Boston on Wednesday.
