However, on December 11, 2014, Graves announced his retirement from wrestling, citing concussion issues as the primary reason. Following his retirement, he rarely engaged in physical altercations in WWE. Nevertheless, he managed to capture the 24/7 Championship on November 8, 2021, adding another accolade to his WWE career.
