Omar Marmoush

Liverpool is reportedly eyeing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush for a summer transfer move.

Marmoush, 25, has been in stellar form for Frankfurt this season, tallying 15 goals and six assists in 32 appearances across various competitions. This includes an impressive record of 10 goals and six assists in 20 Bundesliga matches, where Eintracht currently sits sixth after 25 games.

In addition, Marmoush has found the net four times in seven UEFA Europa Conference League outings, despite Eintracht’s elimination by USG in the knockout playoffs. Despite being under contract with Deutsche Bank Park until 2027, Marmoush has garnered significant interest in his services.

According to reports from Liverpool Echo (via BILD), Liverpool are among the clubs vying for his signature, facing competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Marmoush shares the field with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah for the Egyptian national team, where he has contributed five goals and three assists in 29 appearances.

With Salah nearing the end of his contract at Anfield and fellow attacker Luis Diaz also attracting attention from other clubs, Marmoush could be viewed as a viable option by Jurgen Klopp’s side to potentially fill the void in attack.

BILD suggests that Marmoush could be available for a fee of £42 million this summer, with indications that he harbors ambitions of playing in the Premier League.
