The Jets are one of the 25 teams starting their optional offseason programs today, and Aaron Rodgers is choosing to participate.

Rodgers was present bright and early this morning for the beginning of work, as confirmed by the Jets on social media.

Last year, Rodgers didn’t attend all the Jets’ voluntary sessions, but he did commit to being there for “more than half” of them.

Towards the end of his time in Green Bay, Rodgers opted out of participating in voluntary offseason activities, which reportedly contributed to tensions with the front office and coaching staff before he was traded to the Jets.

Rodgers sustained a torn Achilles tendon in the fourth play of the 2023 season but anticipates being fully recovered for 2024.
