Despite being the top pick in the 2023 NFL draft, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young didn’t meet expectations last season. However, his receivers remain confident in him.

“He’s a fantastic quarterback,” Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson remarked. “Accurate. Intelligent. He knows how to position his teammates. Whenever we’re on the field, we can rely on him to guide us and ensure everyone knows their role.”

Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble observed that Young appears more self-assured this year compared to last year.

“He throws the ball with assurance,” Tremble noted. “He’s not fretting over a multitude of things like he was last year. . . . You can see that confidence. It’s exciting.”

After a challenging rookie season, it would be understandable for Young to doubt himself. Similarly, the team could have lost faith in their franchise quarterback after his 2023 performance. However, reports from Carolina this offseason indicate that there’s still belief within the Panthers organization that Young is the right person for the job.
