USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who opted out of on-field activities at the Scouting Combine, is poised to showcase his throwing abilities today at USC’s Pro Day.

All 32 NFL teams will be present at the event, although the focus for most representatives will extend beyond evaluating Williams alone, encompassing his teammates as well. The Bears, in particular, have shown keen interest, dispatching a substantial delegation led by General Manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus.

Speculation is rife that they may select Williams as the first overall pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.

According to USC wide receiver Brenden Rice, who is set to catch passes from Williams during the event, the quarterback has been discreet with NFL teams, abstaining not only from Combine activities but also from medical evaluations. Hence, today’s Pro Day offers a crucial opportunity for scouts to witness Williams in action before he transitions to the professional ranks.

Other USC players expected to draw attention from NFL teams include safety Calen Bullock and running back Marshawn Lloyd.
