Jordan Love throws in the 1st half

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to start in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, according to several media reports on Saturday.

Love was listed as questionable due to a groin injury he got during the Packers’ 30-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. Quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love in the third quarter and helped Green Bay (6-2) secure its fourth consecutive win.

Love didn’t practice on Wednesday and was limited during practices on Thursday and Friday.

Love, who turned 26 on Saturday, has thrown for 1,547 yards, 15 touchdowns, and a league-high nine interceptions in six starts this season.
