Jonathan Taylor reports that his ankle feels “much better,” but it’s still unclear if he will play on Sunday

The Colts will be missing wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. for a while, so having running back Jonathan Taylor back would really help their offense.

Taylor couldn’t play in last Sunday’s game against the Jaguars because of an ankle injury and didn’t practice on Wednesday. However, on Thursday, he mentioned that he feels like he is improving.

“I’m feeling way better, which is a positive sign,” Taylor said, via Kent Sterling of 98.7 WGCL. “Anytime you can progress throughout the week, you’re closer to getting back on the field.”

Even though Taylor is feeling better, it’s not certain that he will play against the Titans this weekend. He said he was unsure if he would practice on Thursday, and a decision about his status for the game will depend on whether he can prove to the team that being on the field would be beneficial.
