JuJu Smith-Schuster is going back to the team where he won a Super Bowl. According to several reports from Monday morning, Smith-Schuster is signing with the Chiefs.

At 27 years old, Smith-Schuster played one season with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 and won Super Bowl LVII. He was the second-leading receiver on the team with 78 catches and 933 receiving yards during the regular season. In the playoffs, he had 10 catches for 89 yards over three games.

After winning the Super Bowl, Smith-Schuster signed a three-year contract with the Patriots. However, he only had 29 catches for 260 yards and one touchdown in 11 games. The Patriots released him earlier this month.

The Chiefs have been dealing with a shoulder injury to Hollywood Brown, who is a top receiver for the team. Bringing Smith-Schuster back will add depth to the receiving position, but it could affect the roster spots of players like Kadarius Toney or Skyy Moore.
