Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will not play in Monday’s home game against Atlanta because of a hamstring injury.

Brown, who caught five passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in the first game against Green Bay, was listed on the injury report on Friday. Eagles coach Nick Sirianni mentioned that Brown “got a little tight in practice” but did not provide more details.

Last season, Brown had 106 catches for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns for the Eagles. Since his rookie season with the Tennessee Titans in 2019, he has been one of the top receivers in the NFL.

In April, Brown signed a three-year contract extension with $84 million guaranteed.

The Eagles traded for Brown from the Tennessee Titans during the 2022 draft and gave him a four-year contract worth $100 million.

With Brown out, Jalen Hurts will rely more on wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson, as well as return specialist Britain Covey, in the game against the Falcons.
