In March, the NFL declared that Arena Football League matches would air on NFL Network. But now, that’s not the case.
Week 1 games were canceled, and two Week 2 matches, one scheduled for tonight and another for Sunday, are no longer listed on NFLN.
A game slated for Thursday, May 9, has also vanished.
NFL Network hasn’t replied to an email sent earlier this week asking about the NFL’s connection with the AFL. It seems like, for now, the AFL could be operating independently.
This reflects poorly on the NFL. Especially as NFL Network appears to be changing, perhaps in preparation for being sold off.
