Notre Dame’s decisive victory over USC last weekend had implications that extended beyond the College Football Playoff race. During his media availability on Thursday, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown found himself dealing with the consequences.
Before the game between the Trojans and the Fighting Irish, St. Brown and his Lions teammate, Julian Okwara, engaged in a playful agreement. If USC emerged victorious, Okwara, a Notre Dame alumnus, would be obliged to dress as the Trojans’ mascot, Tommy Trojan. Conversely, if the Irish secured the win against St. Brown’s alma mater, he would have to dress as a leprechaun.
With Notre Dame’s convincing 48-20 victory, Okwara’s Irish came out on top, and on Thursday, St. Brown fulfilled his end of the bargain, sporting the leprechaun outfit.
Detroit Lions
St. Brown humorously remarked, “So, we don’t do bets in this facility. We made an agreement that was outside the facility. I called Julian and FaceTimed him. He said if USC wins, he has to be Tommy Trojan. He said, if Notre Dame wins, I have to be the… I don’t know what to call this. Whatever this green thing is. I said, ‘Sure.'”
Amidst USC’s fall in the rankings and St. Brown’s playful reimagining as the Lucky Charms mascot, the Lions wide receiver found the situation far from ideal.
“This material is terrible. Everything about this is terrible, but it is what it is,” St. Brown expressed with good humor.
Despite the outcome of that particular game, St. Brown has been enjoying a successful season. Following an impressive performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, he has amassed 455 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the year. The Lions currently lead the NFC North with a 5-1 record.
In a surprising move reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have decided to trade wide receiver Mecole Hardman back to the Kansas City Chiefs. The trade involves an exchange of late-round draft picks, marking a significant development for both teams. This transaction comes in the wake of mounting speculation, with ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler previously hinting at the Jets’ contemplation of trading Hardman, who had signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the franchise ahead of the 2023 NFL season.
Hardman’s brief stint with the New York Jets was far from spectacular. In five games this season, he managed to catch only one pass for a mere six yards on three targets. His disappointing performance even led to his inactivity during the team’s Week 5 victory over the Denver Broncos. The once-promising receiver had become an afterthought in the Jets’ offensive strategy, overshadowed by the likes of Garrett Wilson, Randall Cobb, and Allen Lazard.
Hardman’s frustration with his limited role in the Jets’ offense was palpable. In early October, he expressed his discontent to ESPN, emphasizing his capabilities in open space. He remarked, “I’m probably the best in the league in space. Maybe [the coaches] see something different. I’m just waiting for the opportunity to present itself. I think when I was in KC, I proved that I was probably the most dangerous guy on the jet sweep, whether it be on the end around or on the screen. I think I proved year in and year out that I was that guy you had to worry about doing that.”
Mecole Hardman
Returning to the Kansas City Chiefs, the team where he began his NFL journey as a 2019 second-round pick, provides hope for a resurgence in Mecole Hardman’s career. During his four seasons with the Chiefs, he contributed significantly to their success, helping secure two Super Bowl victories. In a total of 57 games, Hardman recorded 151 receptions for 2,088 yards and 16 touchdowns, showcasing his versatility and big-play ability.
One standout season for Hardman was his rookie year in 2019. He managed to haul in 26 passes for 538 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games, earning him a Pro Bowl selection. As he returns to the Chiefs, the 25-year-old receiver’s numbers are expected to show a marked improvement, given the anticipation of increased playing time and a renewed sense of purpose.
The trade of Mecole Hardman is poised to have ripple effects on both the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Jets part ways with a player who couldn’t find his footing in their offense, the Chiefs welcome back a familiar face with the potential to rekindle his past successes. The coming games will reveal whether this move was the spark needed to reignite Hardman’s career and bolster the Chiefs’ receiving corps.
The Cleveland Browns have emerged as a captivating NFL team this season, and their allure extends beyond their formidable offense. While their offensive unit has undeniably displayed productivity, the true narrative revolves around their exceptional defense. The Browns have consistently stifled their adversaries, and their recent triumph over the formidable San Francisco 49ers eloquently attests to their defensive mastery.
The Browns’ defensive unit managed to restrict a team that had previously been averaging over 30 points per game this season to a mere 17 points. Although the San Francisco 49ers did manage to score a touchdown during their opening drive, beyond that, the Browns held them in a vice-like grip, except for a solitary 8-yard touchdown drive resulting from an interception.
As a consequence of their stellar defensive displays, the Browns found themselves perched atop the Defensive DVOA ratings, heading into Sunday, a position expected to strengthen further following their latest performance.
A cursory glance at the total points scored in Browns’ games – 27, 48 (with two defensive touchdowns by the Steelers), 30, 31, and 36 – underscores the point. Discounting those two defensive scores, the average total points in the Browns’ games is a modest 31.6 points per game, underlining a discernible pattern of low-scoring matchups.
Browns vs. Colts
The Browns’ clash with the Colts raises significant questions, the foremost being the potential participation of Deshaun Watson in leading the Colts’ offense. However, an equally pivotal query revolves around whether his presence will exert a substantial influence on the game’s outcome.
Watson has grappled with a challenging season and a troublesome rotator cuff injury, casting doubt on his ability to ignite the Colts’ offense against the formidable Browns’ defense. In this face-off, it’s entirely plausible that both teams may resort to their backup quarterbacks, P.J. Walker and Gardner Minshew, paving the way for a contest skewed toward the lower end of the scoring spectrum.
Gardner Minshew’s recent performance in the Browns’ game raises legitimate concerns, as he registered three interceptions and endured a strip sack, underscoring the significance of reliable quarterback play. Should both backup quarterbacks falter in their duties, the prospects of easy scoring opportunities for their respective teams appear grim.
Kevin Stefanski, the Browns’ head coach, boasts a noteworthy track record in games with a total under 44. In such scenarios, his teams have posted a commendable 13-6 record in favor of the under, underscoring a discernible inclination toward low-scoring affairs. Given the recent prowess of the Browns’ defensive unit and the plausible involvement of backup quarterbacks, the prudent choice seems to be a bet on the under for this game.
The initial selection and wager for this impending showdown favor the under with a set point total of 40.5. It’s worth noting that the total points projection has already begun to descend, dipping below 40 at certain sportsbooks. This drop in the projected point total indicates that a considerable number of bettors anticipate a low-scoring contest, aligning with the potential scenario of backup quarterbacks and the unwavering defensive might of the Browns.
While the uncertainty surrounding the starting quarterbacks and their efficacy looms large, the prevailing indicators point towards a game that tilts in favor of the under, presenting an enticing betting opportunity for those seeking value in this NFL encounter.
As the NFL season reaches its midway point, teams have already shown glimpses of their potential, leaving fans and experts alike speculating about which franchises are genuine contenders for a championship run and which are merely pretenders.
In this comprehensive midseason assessment, we delve into the performance and prospects of several NFL teams, considering their strengths and weaknesses, key players, and recent trends. With a closer look at each team’s trajectory, we aim to offer a well-informed perspective on their Super Bowl aspirations.
Cleveland Browns (3-2, 3rd in AFC North)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 10
It’s a tough call, but the Browns land in the pretender category, primarily due to lingering uncertainties on the offensive front. To their credit, they boast an elite defense, currently ranking as the unit allowing the fewest yards (1,002) through five games since 1971. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has been masterful, even warranting consideration for Coach of the Year. This defense is poised to keep the Browns competitive in every game.
However, the question mark hovers over Deshaun Watson’s recovery from his rotator cuff injury. Reports indicate that this injury involves a deep bruise in the back of the shoulder, impeding the $230M quarterback’s ability to throw the ball with velocity. While the Browns remain in the playoff picture, my confidence leans more toward the Ravens, and the situation with the Cincinnati Bengals remains uncertain. The Browns might just belong in the “TBD” category.
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2, 1st in AFC South)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 7
The Jaguars have numerous strengths, including three consecutive victories, a record multiple games above .500 for the first time since 2018, and a divisional series sweep. Travis Etienne’s standout season, marked by becoming the first Jaguar since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2009 to record two touchdowns from scrimmage in consecutive games, further enhances their profile. Etienne ranks fourth in the NFL in scrimmage yards.
Nevertheless, the question lingers: Are the Jaguars legitimate Super Bowl contenders? While their defense has impressively forced 15 turnovers this season, their passing defense ranks second-worst in the league through six weeks (270.3 yards per game). Despite their position as the top team in the AFC South, challenging teams like the Chiefs or Dolphins for AFC supremacy remains a formidable task. The upcoming stretch of games will provide more insights into their potential.
Seattle Seahawks (3-2, 2nd in NFC West)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 13
The Seahawks find themselves in a middling offensive position statistically. Geno Smith, the reigning Comeback Player of the Year, has recorded multiple touchdowns in a game only once this season, requiring overtime to achieve this feat. A 17-13 loss to the Bengals, including a 1-for-5 performance in the red zone, casts doubt on their Super Bowl contender status. While Seattle’s improved defense is exciting to watch, the current outlook does not paint them as Super Bowl contenders.
Pretenders & Contenders
Los Angeles Rams (3-3, 3rd in NFC West)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 12
The Rams’ .500 record may not accurately reflect their potential. With Matthew Stafford ranking third in the league for passing yards and impressive performances by rookie sensation Puka Nacua and running back Kyren Williams, the Rams are off to a solid start offensively.
Cooper Kupp has been a force, averaging 133 receiving yards per game since returning to the lineup. However, doubts persist about whether they can recreate the magic of their 2021 season and go all the way. While they are seventh in yards per game, the Super Bowl contender label remains elusive.
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2, 2nd in AFC North)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 22
Optimism abounded for the Steelers entering the season, but the offense has struggled. Offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s role in these struggles is widely acknowledged, given the talent on the offensive side. Pittsburgh ranks third-worst in the NFL, averaging just 268.2 total yards per game, surpassing only the Giants and an improving Bengals.
Although the Steelers have eked out wins against formidable opponents like the Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and Ravens, they also suffered a disappointing loss to the Houston Texans. While fans hope for a turnaround following a Week 6 bye, the Steelers are not perceived as Super Bowl contenders at this time.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2, 1st in NFC South)
Prisco’s Week 7 Power Ranking: 14
The Buccaneers have exceeded expectations, and Baker Mayfield has showcased strong performance, except for a recent hiccup. Tampa Bay also boasts a solid defense. However, the collective assessment suggests that this team does not currently fit the Super Bowl contender mold.
Shyheim Carter is ready to make his Return to NFL (Credits: Last Words On Sports)
Tennessee Titans safety Shyheim Carter has had a remarkable NFL career filled with trials and tribulations. Despite being released from teams eight times, his unwavering dedication finally led him to make his long-awaited NFL regular-season debut this past Sunday, marking a significant milestone in his journey from adversity to success.
Carter, a former standout defensive back from the University of Alabama, shared his exhilaration and gratitude for the opportunity with Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official website. In the Tennessee locker room, he reflected on the emotional and spiritual aspects of his NFL debut.
“It was a fun experience,” Carter remarked, “Working so hard, staying down, and just to be able to get this opportunity, having the players and the coaches trust in me to get the job done and for it to be my NFL debut, man, it was fun.”
However, his feelings extended beyond mere excitement. Carter described the profound impact of the moment on his emotions and spirituality, saying, “A lot of guys in the DB room knew this was my first NFL game, and a lot of guys, they were just saying, like, how happy and how proud they were of me. And, man, it went a long way. A few tears were shed, but, man, it was just so surreal. … Just watch God work. Just seeing him unfold everything. It was able to bring tears of joy and just, like, put a big smile on my face seeing him work, seeing him flourish.”

Carter, currently a member of the Titans’ practice squad, seized the opportunity to play in the NFL by being elevated for Sunday’s game. He contributed to his team’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, participating in 11 defensive snaps and 11 special-team plays and registering one tackle on special teams.
Despite this achievement, Carter remains humble, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of his NFL journey. He expressed his determination to continue working hard and making a lasting impact on the team: “I come in to work every day not knowing if I’m going to be elevated if I’m going to be on the practice squad, or if I’m going to be released.
I come in with the mindset that I’m being evaluated every day for everything I do. Just come in, keeping my head down, working every day just to be able to get a chance like that. Hopefully, I did some great things, and, hopefully, I created a role on this team and still will be able to create a role.”
Carter’s path to the NFL started at the University of Alabama, where he played a versatile role in the Crimson Tide’s defense. He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with the New York Jets in 2020. Since then, he has persevered through various training camps, preseason games, and practice squad assignments with the Jets, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, and the Tennessee Titans.
Following the 2020 season, Carter spent time as a graduate assistant on the coaching staff at the University of Alabama. However, his determination led him back to the NFL when he earned a contract with the Houston Texans after participating in their rookie minicamp as a tryout player in May 2021.
Carter joined the Tennessee Titans for the first time on December 30, 2021, as a member of the practice squad. Despite being released by the Titans multiple times, the team consistently brought him back, a testament to his perseverance and talent.
As Carter continues his NFL journey, he and the Titans prepare to face the Indianapolis Colts in their upcoming game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Chargers win their second game (Credits: Ty Nowell/Los Angeles Chargers)
The Los Angeles Chargers have won their second game in a row after opening the season with two consecutive losses.
With time almost running out, the Chargers went all out in offense with a long throw by Justin Herbert.
If the move failed, it could have given the Chargers their third loss of the season before their bye week.
The Chargers are known for their high-risk, high-reward strategy, which may be considered entertaining despite the risk of losing games they may have otherwise easily won.
The Chargers’ play style has given their fans a fair amount of stress and anxiety, with victory not being assured till the final whistle blows.
Herbert’s throw showed the team’s willingness to put their explosive offense to good use, no matter what the game situation.
The Chargers franchise and fans will look to be more consistent over the course of this season, with their defense coming under question in all of their games so far.
The Chargers Journey So Far
The Chargers seem to have one of the NFL’s top offenses. Though it may be safe to assume that if their defense continues to struggle, the season may be harder than they expected.
The defense has been their downfall so far this season, which can be seen in their 2-2 record so far.
While many expected a change in the Chargers’ playstyle due to the loss of Mike Williams to an ACL tear in the Chargers’ week three game against the Minnesota Vikings, nothing has changed for Herbert or the other receivers, who go out all guns blazing.

The Chargers suffered two narrow losses to start the season, one of which was in overtime to the Tennessee Titans. They now have a .500 win-loss record after four weeks.
A failed fourth-down conversion attempt, deep in their own territory, almost gave the Chargers their third loss in a row.
The Chargers will now look to work on their defense during their bye weak, and it’s something that has let them down more often than not this season,
Khalil Mack stood out in Week 4, and there are also issues regarding the demotion of J.C. Jackson.
In terms of statistics, the Chargers currently rank 20th in rushing yards per attempt, 30th in pass yards per attempt, and 25th in EPA per play with regard to their defense.
Most defensive teams have struggled this season, with the Dolphins, Panthers, Commanders, and Bengals having similar EPA per play rankings to the Chargers. Pete Carroll’s Seahawks are also struggling defensively, ranking 28th in EPA per play.
The team will be looking to be more consistent as the season rolls on under the guidance of defensive specialist head coach Brandon Staley.
If they do find a way to be more consistent in defense, post their bye week, they could well be a dark horse for the title this year.
Jamal Adams set to return from injury (Credits: Seahawkswire USA Today)
The Seattle Seahawks take on the New York Giants on Monday night. The game may seem like any other for fans, but for the Seahawks’ Jamal Adams, it means so much more.
Adams is set to make his 2023 debut against the Giants, coming back from an injury that has kept him out of the game since the 2022 season opener.
Adams spoke to reporters on Friday, sharing his experiences with his latest setback and how he almost considered retiring due to it.
He said, “It was tough. “I thought about retiring. I thought about a lot of things. Is this going to be it for me? I didn’t know. But I knew eventually after I got that MRI, I told myself I was going to be back. I didn’t know when or how, but I was going to figure it out. I knew if I kept my faith and those around me who really love and support me, then I could make it out.”
Adams Injury Plagued Career
Adams, a three-time Pro Bowl talent, has suffered from multiple injuries in the past three seasons.
His injuries include a torn quad tendon and two torn labrums. The injuries have taken a physical and mental toll on the 27-year-old safety.

Adams was a part of the New York Jets before joining the Seahawks on a trade-in 2020. He has played just 25 regular-season games for the team from Seattle due to injuries, which he said left him in a “dark place.”
Adams said, “I was having all types of thoughts running through my mind, but at the time when I did tear my knee, that was definitely something I was considering. I was considering everything at the moment. I was in a dark place.
I’m not on anything suicidal, but definitely in a lot of dark times as far as getting away from the game of football, getting away from people. At the time, I wasn’t really talking to many people and wasn’t answering my phone. So you go through real-life situations in this game of football.”
Adams went into detail about the mental issues that athletes face when they suffer from injuries, stating, ” Football teaches you life … and adversity hit me real quick, and I have learned to attack it and embrace it…[while being prepared] to rise up to the next occasion.”
The Seahawks franchise and their fans are looking forward to seeing Adams returning to the field, with his honest admission of mental as well as emotional struggles that professional athletes face showing a new side to the sport that they love.
Jordan Love struggled against the Lions (Credits: AP Photo/Jeffrey Phelps, File)
The Green Bay Packers took on the Detroit Lions in a big game in the NFC North. The Packers have now promoted Jordan Love, their starting Quarterback, who was one of their backups for Aaron Rodgers.
All was not easy for Love as he faced the Lions without the presence of two Pro Bowl offensive linemen. The Packers suffered a loss against the Lions, but the experience gained by Love as a starter may define his career as well as the future of the Packers.
A Disappointing Loss
The Packers and Lions looked all set for an evenly matched battle, which wasn’t the case, with the Lions crushing the Packers 34-20.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur spoke to the press after the game saying, “We got our ass kicked, If I knew [why], it wouldn’t have happened.”

LaFleur also defended Love’s performance, saying, “It’s hard to throw on your back. We’ve got to protect him better. We’ve got to look at some of the things we’re asking our guys to do. … There’s plenty of blame to go around. I’m always going to look at myself first and foremost and see what kind of position we’re putting our offense in. It wasn’t good enough.”
The Lions powered through the first half, with the score reading 27-3 at halftime.
Love had a few promising moments, but not as much as he or the Packers would have liked. He ended the game with two touchdowns (one rushing) and two interceptions.
While a brunt of the blame was faced by Love, critics and fans must also consider the challenges the Packers offensive line faced.
The absence of linemen David Bakhitari and Elgton Jenkins played a big role as it forced Love into pressure, which impacted the way he executed plays against the Lions.
Speaking to the press, Packers guard Jon Runyan said, “It’s not where you want to be, especially when you’re playing the Lions and they have a really good pass-rush front.” “ I think their defensive line is definitely the strength of their team.
Defensive and offensive line. When they’re able to know what the situation is and know they’re going to have to get after the quarterback, it’s hard on us to hold up. We’re putting ourselves in those second-and-10s, third-and-12s … these last two weeks have just been unacceptable for us.”
The Packers didn’t earn a first down without a Detroit penalty till late in the second quarter.
A Struggling Defense
Along with their obvious offensive struggles, the Packers’ defense faced their own issues.
An early interception by Rudy Ford, the Lions were able to push through on their next four drives.
They scored 24 points, averaging 8.6 yards per play. Detroit was forced into their first punt by the Packers when they were already leading by 21 points.
What Next For Jordan Love And The Packers?
Questions will be raised on whether Love is the right choice to lead the Packers this season, while considerations need to be made over the stability of the offensive line of the Packers.
The Packers currently hold a 2-2 record, with Elgton Jenkins returning to boost their chances in a division that gives them the chance to come back strong.
Love will look to keep the loss against the Lions behind him and build towards the future as the starting quarterback for the Packers, redeeming himself and the chances of the franchise this season.
After the Rams lost to the Bengals on Monday night, coach Sean McVay was not questioned about an important choice to punt the ball with 6:09 remaining. McVay was questioned about this situation during his press conference on Wednesday in the middle of the week.
Here’s a review. It was the fourth down, and the Rams needed to increase five yards to keep the ball. If the Rams had converted, they would have kept possession and would have had an opportunity to score a touchdown or a field goal. Then, they’d have had enough time to prevent the Bengals, get the ball back, and score again.
However, when they chose to punt instead, it meant that the Rams had to quickly push the Bengals to have only three aggressive plays, then mount a successful drive to score points, and carry out a successful onside kick to regain possession of the ball.
Sean McVay (Credits: Gary A. Vasquez/USA TODAY Sports)
Depending on the hope of recovering an onside kick isn’t a well-thought-out strategy; it’s more like a hopeless move, similar to seeing a Hail Mary pass in football.
The Rams had the ball with 6 minutes and 9 seconds remaining in the game, facing a fourth down and needing just five yards, not a more challenging fourth and 15. They should have chosen a different strategy that didn’t require them to successfully recover an onside kick just to have a chance to take the game to overtime.
However, here’s what McVay reported when asked by reporters whether he considered going for it on fourth and five with 6:09 to play.
“I did,” he said. “Thought about it, just didn’t feel like it was the right thing. There were some struggles that we had on third down and so had confidence in our defense at that point, and so that was kind of the thought process there.”
Furthermore, he should have believed in their capability to successfully regain possession through an onside kick, even though the Rams hadn’t achieved this feat in the past 11 years.
McVay also stated that the thought process in that situation is “a combination of some of the analytics, and sometimes I think a big part of it is the feel for the flow of the game.”
“A lot of it is, OK, what’s the inventory that you would have?” he said. “Where are you at in regards to who’s available? What’s your injury situation? So, there are certain models and metrics that I believe in, but I also think there’s a feel for the flow of the game, and then there are 22 moving parts. That’s a huge factor to me.”
Matthew Stafford (Credit: USA TODAY Sports/Reuters Con)
These explanations are sensible when, for instance, only one stop and one score are required to either equalize the game or secure a victory.
In this particular situation, McVay had to rely on an offense he did not have much confidence in to gain just five yards and move the ball beneficially enough to score twice. Also, the special teams had to successfully regain an onside kick for the plan to work.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford was asked a different question about whether he has any say or input in those important instances and if he wishes he had more say in them.
“Yeah, at the moment, with a 40-second play clock, it’s tough,” Stafford said. “I wish the mic was two-way, but it’s only one way. Sometimes I wish I could say something back. . . . But no, in the heat of the moment, I leave it up to those guys. I trust those guys. Sean does a great job a lot of times on some of those third and longs or whatever it is in certain parts of the field, in certain situations in the game where he’s like, ‘Hey, we might have two downs here.’
And so that kind of helps train my process as far as, OK, if the underneath guy is open and we can get this thing to fourth and whatever we think is manageable at that point, I’m aggressive to that. So I leave it up to those guys, and then I just try to play accordingly.”
For the Rams, the necessary element needed for the plan to punt the ball successfully was the recovery of an onside kick. This justifies that notwithstanding what the analytics or McVay’s instinct suggested, the best decision was to aim to obtain those five yards on fourth down – even if it resulted in a final score of 22-9 or 26-9, which might not have looked as respectable as 19-16.
And to be honest, it’s difficult not to believe that part of his inspiration was influenced by the simple fact that a score of 19-16 appeared much better than 22-9 or 26-9.
The last two days of the month of September are left, and many exciting football matches took place in this month, in which many teams faced each other, and the series of wins and losses continued.
Many new records were made, and many old records were broken. Now, the last match of this month is left, and in the meantime, news is coming that players are going to be given awards by the NFL.
Some of the best players are going to receive awards from the NFL. Of all these awards, one award is going to be given to the NFC’s best defensive player.
Parsons’ Path to Excellence: A Season of Record-Breaking Performances
And this award is going to be given to Micah Parsons for the first time. Micah Parsons is an American defensive tackle who plays for the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons played his first match in 2021.
Micah Parsons (Credits: Dead Spin)
Parsons is a defensive player for the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons has shown himself to be an improved player this season by recording four sacks and sacking two New York Giants offensive linemen.
It would not be wrong to say that Parsons performed very well this season; he created many records and proved himself to be a better player, and his brilliant performance made him worthy of this award.
Parsons cannot be praised enough this season. The Dallas Cowboys did not win every game this season, but they have prepared themselves for their next match.
The Dallas Cowboys’ next game is against the New England Patriots. Parsons and his team are fully prepared to win this match.
In the next match, the eyes of the fans and everyone will be on Parsons, the best player of the Dallas Cowboys. Once again, the magic of Parsons will work on the world.
After consecutive defeats in the last two matches, once again, the Jaguars team is ready to enter the field with preparations to win in the upcoming match. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ next match is to be held in London, and the team is going to play matches in London for two weeks.
This time, the team is fully prepared for its next match to be held in London. Two players on the team have been injured. Jay Jones, one of the Jaguars’ star players, was playing against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
During the match, Jones suffered a knee injury, due to which he was ruled out of the game. Maybe we’ll see Jones play in an upcoming match. The team had just lost a star player like Jones when Devin Lloyd also suffered a thumb injury on Wednesday.
Lloyd is one of the stars of the Jaguars team. We will not be able to see Lloyd playing in the match to be held in London. This is a matter of concern for team coach Doug Pederson because two of his star players will not be seen in the match due to injury. Now, it remains to be seen who will replace Lloyd.
Chad Muma Replaces Injured Lloyd
Jaguar team coach said in a press interview on Wednesday that his team has not been able to perform well in the last two matches, and one by one, the good players of the team are getting injured, due to which the team is slowing down from 2 matches.
Chad Muma (Credits: 7220 Sports )
Is Pedersen said in the interview that the team has improved a lot and the team is now fully prepared for the match to be held in London? Pederson said that the team’s linebreaker, Lloyd, was injured in the last match, due to which Chad Muma has now replaced the team in his place.
Muma is a second-year linebacker. The coach said that Muma is a young player, and he is very excited about the game. Pederson said that Muma is a good player who will perform well for the team. However, this is a good chance for Muma to prove himself. Now it remains to be seen whether Jaguar wins the match to be held in London or not.
Justin Herbert has made history. The Minnesota Vikings team lacks the game touch that was a golden opportunity last season. A masterful performance was showcased during the Chargers’ 28-24 win against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He went for the 40-47 with 45 yards and three touchdowns. His performance led to the first win for the Chargers team this season.
Herbert became 2nd player in NFL history to throw over 400 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions and, at the same time, complete 85% of passes. Through the three games in this season, Herbert has a total of 939 yards and six touchdowns. This increased the passer rate to 112.9. He has the leading completion percentage of 74.4.
About Justin Herbert
He played football in his college times. Firstly, he was selected by Los Angeles with the 6th overall pick of the NFL draft 2020. The following year, Herbert had gone to the Pro Bowl. After finishing the 5,014 yards with 38 touchdowns and 15 picks. 65.9% of the completion is there in throws, and the passer registers over 97.7%.
In the last season, Herbert had taken a bit of a step. It tallied 4,739 yards, 25 touchdowns, and ten picks. It posted a career-low passer rate of 93.2%. Justin Herbert has been bouncing back in 2023 and has improved his performance every week.
Justin Herbert (Credits: San Diego Union-Tribune)
Los Angeles Chargers had a score of 1-2. Justin Herbert is the only quarterback in the NFL for the Vikings team.
