Edinson Cavani is all set to move to England to join the Premier League giants Manchester United. After the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the Uruguayan striker has been a free agent and open to any clubs that wanted him. After the arrival of Mauro Icardi to Paris Saint-Germain, it would have been stupid if he decided to stay at the club. Hence, he is ready to start a new chapter. Cavani is a Paris Saint-Germain legend who has scored the most goals for the club and even touched 200 goals in the previous season. The player and Manchester United have agreed on personal terms and the only thing that remains is the agent fee and the club is ready to pay €10 million for it.
Many Premier League clubs were interested in signing the player but due to the wages and a high agent fee, most of them collapsed and the Reds are the only ones who agreed to it. Manchester United is a top club but they still need some improvements in their attack. They believe that the 33-year old can fill that void and help them reach the top again. The deal is for one year with an option to extend his contract for another 12 months. After this, only the medicals will be left and Cavani will be officially a Manchester United player. In the UCL draws that happened recently, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been drawn into the same group. So, it will be exciting to watch them as rivals.
