It was a good match and today many players gave good performances but still, MI won the match because of their strong bowling line up. This match started with MI winning the toss and opting to bat first. This proved to be a good decision of MI captain Rohit Sharma.
From the MI side, as usual, Rohit Sharma and De Kock came to bat but Rohit Sharma got out in the very first over only after scoring six runs. This was not at all expected from the captain and MI supporters were disappointed because of Rohit Sharma’s performance. Then SuryaKumar Yadav came to bat.
They both were playing well but Yadav got out in the sixth over and withing the powerplay MI lost two important wickets. Suryakumar Yadav scored 27 runs in 18 balls before he got out. After that Ishan Kishan came to bat and then there was a rain of fours and sixes from Ishan Kishan and De Kock’s side. The match was going really well but suddenly Ishan Kishan got out.
He was going for a boundary but got caught by Manish Pandey and hence went back to Pavillion after scoring 31 runs in 23 balls. We gave a good start to the score which was very much required. Then Hardik Pandya came to bat and in the very next over De Kock got out after scoring a brilliant 67 runs in 39 runs and he tremendously performed his job for today’s match.
After that Hardik Pandya, Pollard, and Krunal Pandya all three scored good runs with a high strike rate. Hardik got out at 28 in just 19 balls. At the end of the match, Pollard was on 25 in 13 balls and Krunal Pandya was on 20 in just 4 balls.
The final score of MI was 208 runs in 20 overs and this was a really good score and difficult to chase. Now, it was SRH’s time to chase 208 runs and score 209 in order to win the match move upwards in the points table.
From the SRH side, Warner and Bairstow came to bat, and as usual first over was bowled by Trent Boult. In the fifth over, Trent Boult got Bairstow out at 25 runs in 15 balls. He was playing really well but unluckily got out. Then Manish Pandey came to bat.
It was Warner and Manish Pandey on the ground and they both were playing really well and fast and was scoring good runs for the team maintaining a good run rate. But in the tenth over Manish Pandey gt out after playing an excellent inning and scored 30 runs in just 19 balls.
After that, no one was able to score good runs and therefore SRH lost the match. The only Warner was there who was scoring runs but he also got out. After Manish Pandey got out, Williamson came to bat and got out after scoring just 3 runs, then it was Priyam Garg who also got out at just 8 runs in 7 balls, and then Abhishek Sharma who got out at 10 in 13 balls.
No one was performing for the team and just were getting out. After that Abdul came to bat and scored 20 runs in 9 balls and got out. Then it was the main player Warner who got out at 60 runs in 44 balls. At the end of the match, it was Rashid Khan and Sandeep Sharma playing at 3 and zero.
