The Brazilian international Rafinha Alcantara recently signed a contract with the Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. It is a free transfer from Barcelona where variables of €3 million were included in the deal. Paris made this signing on the last day of the deadline. Even though Rafinha was a Barcelona player, he played his last season at Celta Vigo, and before that, he used to play for Inter Milan. Both the deals were on loan from Barcelona. He is one of the three players that Paris had signed on the deadline. Paris signed Moise Kean from Everton, Danilo Pereira from Porto, and now Rafinha from Barcelona, making it the third loan deal on the deadline. PSG has also signed Florenzi before this, and that too was a loan deal.

Rafinha’s contract was going to end with Barcelona next summer, and Koeman did not have any interest in featuring the player in his squad, and that is why he decided to join PSG for this season. He will be a great fit for PSG as he has already played with Neymar Jr. and understands his game. PSG fans cannot wait to see their partnership. Rafinha said that he is thrilled to be a part of such a big club. He was nervous during the signing as it was a sudden decision as it took place in just some hours. Rafinha also added that he has some friends like Neymar, Marquinhos, and Mauro Icardi in the club, and it will be exciting to play with them. He expects to win as many titles as possible with the club.

Rafael Alcantara do Nascimento, more popularly known as Rafinha, is a professional footballer who plays for the Brazil national football team and just signed for the Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. He plays as a central midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder. Rafinha started his club career at Barcelona in 2011. He used to play for Barcelona’s youth team La Masia when he was only 13 years old. He got to play for the B team and made his professional debut for the club. Rafinha is the brother of the fresh Liverpool signing Thiago Alcantara. His father was also a footballer. In fact, he also played as a midfielder. His father won the FIFA World Cup for Brazil in 1994. Interestingly, his brother Thiago plays for the Spanish national team, whereas Rafinha plays for the Brazilian national team. Signing him will be a huge benefit for Paris, and we hope that he leaves his mark for the club.
