Manchester City has a long list of breaking many records with the highest passes, highest goals, and so on for this season, and one such record-breaking that has secured Man city’s name is the highest penalty award for the season.
The previous record of 13 was given to the Leicester during their title win in 2014- 15 seasons alongside the Crystal Palace in the 2004 and 2005 season. Ten goals were scored from the spot this season in the league by ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side which is three more of the Watford who were relegated with converting seven.
The opening four league games of the campaign saw three penalties being awarded to the united but Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba missed it against the Palace and Wolves respectively.
