Luka Dončić had a huge game with 47 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists, while Kyrie Irving contributed 24 points and seven assists as the Dallas Mavericks secured their seventh consecutive victory. This win also ended the Houston Rockets’ impressive 11-game winning streak with a final score of 125-107 on Sunday night.

In the first half, Doncic was on fire, scoring 32 points while shooting 12-of-18 from the field, including 6 of 10 from beyond the arc. By halftime, the Mavericks were comfortably ahead with a score of 66-45. Doncic continued his scoring spree throughout the game, finishing with 18 of 30 shooting and hitting 9 of 16 from 3-point range.

Dante Exum contributed 13 points, and P.J. Washington added 12 points along with six rebounds for the Mavericks, who shot an impressive 52% from the field and made 24 of their 47 attempted 3-pointers.

With this victory, Dallas moved into a tie with the idle New Orleans Pelicans for fifth place in the Western Conference, with both teams having eight games left in the regular season.

For the Rockets, Jabari Smith Jr. led the scoring with 28 points, followed by Aaron Holiday with 16 points. However, Jalen Green struggled to find his rhythm, managing just 12 points on 5-for-15 shooting, which impacted Houston’s efforts to secure a play-in spot, the Rockets shot 42% from the field and made 13 of their 38 attempted 3-pointers.
