Sevilla FC won the UEFA Europa League after beating Inter Milan in the finals to lift the trophy. Bayern Munich won against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League finals by 1-0. The UEFA Super Cup is played between the winner of the Champions League and the Europa League. Bayern Munich and Sevilla both the teams were in great form in the last season. Bayern even proved that they had not lost their form after winning 8-0 in their first Bundesliga match this season against Schalke. Liverpool FC is the current Super Cup holders. Bayern Munich and Sevilla have both won the title once before this. It was time to see who wins the Super Cup this season.
